Chicago International Hostel Field Trip

Recently, Mr. Streit, Mr. McCormick, and Mr. Finelli, took the 7th and 8th grade CHOICE members on a local field trip to the Chicago International Hostel in downtown Chicago. We learned about places the students would like to visit in the world. We also did some activities that made the children think a little differently about meeting new people -- who may be similar or different from them. Then the students made a Caesar salad and spaghetti lunch for the travelers staying at the hostel. (The salad they made was great!!) The students then ate their lunch with the travelers and were given the chance to ask about their travels.
